(1) Cycle Setting
The longer the cycle time, the longer the excess shrink film becomes, resulting in an unattractive appearance after shrinking. (The shrink film may become loose after wrapping the product.)
Note: If the cycle time is too short, the sealing and cutting blade may cut into the product. The typical cycle time is 0.1–0.5 seconds (however, this may vary depending on the thickness of the product).
(2) Counter
When the packaged item passes through the photoelectric sensor and the sealing and cutting blade descends and then rises again, the number on the counter will be displayed.
*(To reset the counter to zero, simply press the “RESET” button in the upper right corner.)
(3) Through-beam Photoelectric Sensors (Installed on both sides of the conveyor belt)
When the packaged item passes through the photoelectric sensor, the stroke setting mechanism is activated, causing the sealing and cutting blade to descend and perform the cut.
(4) Mode Selector Switch
When loading film or debugging the machine, the manual mode must be selected. In this mode, the conveyor belt does not run and the photoelectric sensors are deactivated.
For actual packaging, select automatic mode. In this mode, the conveyor belt runs and the photoelectric sensors are activated. When the packaged item contacts the photoelectric sensors, the sealing and cutting blade will automatically descend. Be careful not to touch the photoelectric sensors with your hands.
(5) Sealing Temperature
Typically set to around 170°C. (May vary depending on the material and thickness of the shrink film.)
(6) Sealing Time
Typically set to 0.8 seconds. (May vary depending on the material and thickness of the shrink film.)
(7) Cylinder Maintenance
Drain the water at least once a month (press the white button near the bottom of the cylinder to release the water). Check the oil level at least once a month.
